1) What is the single most important thing in the Pole Vault? - stay focused to stay safe
2) What makes a great approach? - mark your steps before hand, make sure they are correct
3) What makes a great plant? - time it just right, focus your energy
4) What makes a great swing up?
5) What makes a great top?
6) What advice do you have for the off/pre season? - keep in shape, lift weights, run
7) What are your favorite drills for the Pole Vault? - "box drills" 1 person in the box, holding on to pole, another on top of our extension mats in front of the box- grip pole, take a few steps, person in box helps push you over, practice form
8) What advice do you have on a Vaulters grip width? - have hands a little more than shoulder lenght apart
9) What advice do have on a height of a Vaulters hand-hold?- where ever you feel comfortable
10) What advice do you have on how to keep the Pole Vault Safe? - make sure to have people around who know what they are doing, keep extra mats around the pit in case someone misses the pit
