Are you an Athlete(Avid Pole Vaulter), Coach, or Both?
What is your Personal Best or Your Athletes Best (Basic Background)
1) What is the single most important thing in the Pole Vault?
2) What makes a great approach? - high knees run tall and consistent and fofcoarse have speed with it
3) What makes a great plant? - Chest drive, And tall on take off with arms up
4) What makes a great swing up? - trail leg and take off but ofcoarse PLANT
5) What makes a great top? - PLANT, but before turn have feet over head as if fallling backwards so you may shoot up instead of out
6) What advice do you have for the off/pre season? - Don't be a lazy bum atleast go runnin gor lift wueght, but m favorite is surfing, i don't know many vaulters who don't surf....Vaulter's are deffinatly a crazy breed
7) What are your favorite drills for the Pole Vault? - box, pole runs, and high bar

8) What advice do you have on a Vaulters grip width? - if pole is shorter then about 13 feet hold forarm plus one hand grip apart if great it ranges from full arm length to armlength plus body length, but what ever feels right for the vaulter
9) What advice do have on a height of a Vaulters hand-hold?- start low and slow, and slowly raise it up as coach instructs
10) What advice do you have on how to keep the Pole Vault Safe? - Don't be afraid and make sure you have the proper things and that means coach too
