: Does anyone have directions on how to make your own wooden slidebox? I need measurements and everything else. Thanks!
You do not have to be specific with the measurements on a wooden slide box. On the slide box that my dad and I made the bottom was 1/2" plywood (don't go cheap and get particle board, it will fall apart). The sides were 2x4's and the nose (the part where the pole slams into) was a 4x4. I would suggest making the 4x4 six inches long and then making about 45 degree cuts on each end of it. Then screw 24" 2x4's to each side and then cut the plywood to match the shape of the box. We then attached carpet to the bottom of the plywood, this was to keep the gym floor where we were using the box from getting scratched. hope this helps
