The National Pole Vault Summit offers the best opportunity to learn and
share in the most current thinking and training. This year we offer a
choice of activities to better meet your needs. Please choose an area
where you need the most help. Plan to attend. Check in and packet pick up
will be Thursday beginning at 2pm. General assembly and Clinic opening is
Friday 9:30am at the Reno Livestock Event Center followed by a full day of
instruction with Elite/Invitational men and women competition Friday night.
Saturday will be competition with additional 1 hour warm-up/instruction
with USATF National staff for all high school vaulters.

Clinic registration with payment must be post-marked by January 6th or late

registration applies. No entries will be accepted without correct payment.
Make hotel arrangements early. This Summit will be bigger than last
year!! It is very important that each athlete register early so that they
are registered to compete and assigned the correct group for evaluation of
their technique by the USATF Staff.

11:00-1:10 Session I Red Group - Arena - Clinic White Group - Hotel -
Clinic Blue Group - Lunch / Free Time Arena Program: Two hour individual
evaluation with USATF staff. Gymnastics with Dave Nielson Speed and Power

1:40-3:50 Session II Red Group - Lunch / Free Time White Group - Arena -
Clinic Blue Group - Hotel - Clinic Skybox Program: Nutrition: Claire Boyken

4:20-6:30 Session III Red Group - Hotel - Clinic White Group - Lunch / Free
Time Blue Group - Arena - Clinic Clinic Organization: *The Red / White /
Blue Groups will be assigned at your registration packet up registration
packet pick up on Thursday. Only
7:30-10:00 Elite Individual and Team Competitions Masters Competitions the
designated group (red, white, or blue) will be allowed at the designated
clinic site and time. Color ID will be required for admittance
10pm Social at Conclusion of the Competition to clinic site.
 
Saturday, January 23rd
8:30-10:00 am Special Help/Competition Warm-up
for High School with USATF Staff
10:00am Competition on 8 Pits (High School, College/Open)
**Transportation is provided to shuttle between the hotel and arena for
Friday sessions.
***Transportation provided for poles to Arena
Thursday night or Friday before 9am.
 
Locating a College:
Lisa Collet (Fresno State University Assistant
University Compliance Officer will be available in the registration area to
provide information on types of financial aid available to High School
Senior Student Athletes. Lisa will also have a list of colleges looking
for pole vaulters.
