ok, right now the wrestling season is over and i had been wrestling in the 119 class... its about a week after the end of the season and i weigh about 125, i am 5'7". i told my track coach that i wanted to gain more and weigh around 135-140 while keeping my body fat the same (its only about 5%). the coach said i shouldnt go over 130 or else i would be slow (i polevault but also sprint).
she also told me that supplements are bad and will cause me injury. i am on a bunch of things now, protein, creatine etc.. etc.. and i feel that they have helped me with endurance and strength.
should i just blow off the coach and gain 15 pounds in muscle? or is it a good idea to stay at 125 (skinny), and also should i keep using the supplements that i have?
