Gaining weight won't make you slow?!? Have you ever seen a fast body builder? Don't worry about weight. It means nothing. You should be concerned with your strength to weight ratio. Gaining weight while not increasing the gap between strength & body weight, is not a good weight gain. For example, you're far better off weighing 160 and cleaning 250 than weighing 185 and cleaning 300.
There are major problems with this diet:
First off, a high protein, low-carb diet is not for muscle gain. Body builders typically go to an "all steak" diet for 3 days before a competition, because it causes weight loss (mainly water) and gives them a more cut physique.
You will lose weight extremely fast, 5-10 lbs a week.
Your body will enter a state of ketosis after 2 weeks or so (your sweat & breath will begin to smell like rotting cabbage).
A high protein/low carb diet makes you more susceptible to various forms of cancer.
When you return to a balanced diet, you will gain all the weight back plus probably 10% more.
